Hoeboer followed teacher training at the Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam. She is a 2nd and 1st grade teacher in the subjects crafts and drawing. Since her graduation she has worked as a teacher in various places. Schools, community centers and creativity centers. Since 2002 she has been teaching ceramics in her own studio. Together with her partner, she started a ceramics course center in The Hague in 2005. She still runs this center together with her husband, Jeroen van Alphen. The center has now been expanded with an annex, and several teachers teach there.
Workshops, courses and masterclass weekends are given with various guest teachers.
